The mantra of the gender identity theorists is that if a man feels like a woman he is a woman. I find
this is very confusing position. You see I am a woman. But I can state categorically that I have no idea
what feeling like a woman means.
And if I, as a woman, don’t know what 'feeling like a woman' is, how can a man?
I’d love to ask a few of the trans activists but given they subscribe to no debate they probably won’t
tell me. And so I am left wondering.
Looking at the propaganda materials they hand out in schools, I have a nasty feeling that 'feeling like
a woman' has something to do with wanting to dress in girly clothes and high heels, have long
flowing locks and a face smothered in make-up. In other words they want to dress like a dandy from
the 18 th Century or a New Romantic from the last years of the 20 th . Of course they were men and no
one has ever suggested dandies or New Romantics ever thought they were women.
The only other people that dressed that way were an idealized form of female from the 1950s –
those submissive ladies who existed before the contraceptive pill gave women power over their
own bodies, the second wave feminists fought for equal opportunities for all humans and male
supremacy got a kick in the teeth.
Since then women have been able to take on senior jobs, control their own money and own their
own property. Golly, we don’t even need to ask our hubbies' permission to have a bank account
anymore! Could this be what’s behind all this nonsense? Do these men who feel like a woman
hanker after being looked after and treated like children just like the women in that idealized 50s
past? Or is this really about forcing that definition of womanhood on all of us and in that way drive
us back into the kitchen and well away from the boardroom?
I wonder…..
