CAMPAIGNING

We campaign within the Conservative Party and Westminster to raise awareness of the many ways in which de-facto self-ID is harming our society.

We work with friends and supporters in the Lords and the Commons to bring injustice to light and advise politicians and opinion-formers on what is important to grassroots party members and women in general.

We will not rest until women and girls are assured of security and dignity by the rigorous defence of our legal right to single-sex spaces.

We focus our campaigning in different ways to make sure our message is heard loud and clear.

Social Media

We are present on social media and use it to amplify our voice.  We sometimes use 'calls to action' on social media for speedy responses to issues arising, and to publicise our blogs.

Behind the Scenes

We work cross-party with other groups, MPs and Lords to push the women's rights agenda where it counts, in Westminster.  It's still quite a hostile environment for openly 'pro-women' MPs, so we favour working quietly to build trust and influence, and will respect confidentiality when asked to do so. We will, however, engage in public debate when the occasion calls for it!

Constituency Network

We're aiming to have a CfW member in every constituency, actively talking to their MPs, challenging any misconceptions and providing information on women's rights issues.  MPs are obliged to answer constituents' correspondence, and we use their responses to influence within the Commons.

Peers Network

CfW has been very successful in working with members of the House of Lords in the past; Peers are less likely to ‘follow the herd’ with fashionable opinions, be less partisan and more conscience-led.  Peers of all parties have shown to be strong advocates for women's rights, and our Peers Network is dedicated to supporting members of the House of Lords with background information, and assisting them to speak out and vote for women's sex-based rights.

Campaign with us and let's effect real change where it matters - in government. Sign up on the 'Join Us' page.
