'Without Fear Or Favour'

Helping PCCs to confidently apply equality and diversity principles based in fact and law

The rise in trans ideology in recent years has led to confusion amongst public and private institutions and service-providers, none more so than the Police who may unwittingly stray into the gender wars every day in their line of duty.

Incorrect and vague advice from lobby and pressure groups have made the problem worse, not better, and PCCs need to have confidence in the law and fact-based evidence to hold their Chief Constables to account.  This session and the resources supplied will give clear guidance on the law around the Equality Act 2010, and how it can be enforced in practice.

In the session 'Without Fear or Favour' we will cover:

  • Sex not Gender
  • Sex offending by women has increased 84% in four years - what’s behind this sudden rise?
  • The Equality Act
  • Law vs. Guidance
  • What the law says on strip and intimate search on trans identifying suspects, and conversely, by trans-identifying staff.
  • ‘Without fear or favour’ - how extremist political ideology has taken root within the police.
  • Your questions
